Living the mission: Employees share what it was like to experience Trilivy firsthand
Updated: 1 day ago

As a company dedicated to helping people improve their metabolic health, we believe in experiencing the approach firsthand.
Before Trilivy launched, corporate employees had the opportunity to experience Trilivy’s comprehensive metabolic health system for themselves, choosing the phase of the system that best aligned with their health goals. Each phase includes tailored, science-backed nutrition, designed to support people at all different stages in their journey.
Along the way, they had personalized support from a Trilivy coach, and the accountability of a community of colleagues who were navigating the experience alongside them, while also focusing on key healthy habits to support their metabolic health journeys. Together, these elements demonstrated the power of combining metabolic science with human connection.
From unexpected insights to lasting changes, hear how their experiences shaped the way they think about their health, and what they learned along the way.

Trialing our comprehensive metabolic health system.
Ahead of the launch of Trilivy, we ran a coach-led Employee Metabolic Health Reset to gather early insights and feedback, and learnings from the employee experience.
The vision for the Trilivy Employee Metabolic Health Reset was simple: help our employees improve their health by experiencing the Trilivy approach firsthand. By giving employees access to our science-backed nutrition, personalized coaching, and a closer look at their habits, employees learned how to fuel their bodies, build healthier routines, and make choices that supported their individual health goals.

Over the course of three months, employees followed a phase of our system that adhered to their goals while measuring key metabolic health outcomes. They also traveled to The Hive, a full-service health and wellness club in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded by two of our top Trilivy coaches, for comprehensive bloodwork and InBody scans to assess changes in body composition and overall metabolic health.
Each participant was paired with a coach who was by their side every step of the way. This one-on-one coaching provided personalized guidance and support as participants navigated the experience.
Participants were provided with nutrient-dense meal replacements, called Fuelings, paired with Lean & Green meals.

She set out to lose 10 lbs and gained so much more.
Patricia King, Senior Director of Strategic Business Planning & Research, was inspired after attending a 2025 coach event. Hearing coaches talk about prioritizing their own health inspired Patricia to take a closer look at her own.
She bought a metabolic scale and started working out but wasn’t seeing the results she hoped for. When she learned about the opportunity to experience the Employee Metabolic Health Reset, she thought this would be the perfect pivot.
Going into the reset, Patricia had a goal of losing around 10 pounds, but once she got started, her goals expanded beyond the number on the scale. She wanted to better understand and improve her overall body composition and make changes to improve her long-term health. With a family history that motivated her to take a proactive approach, Patricia wanted to challenge her expectations around aging and take a closer look at her health.
Patricia’s self-reported results went beyond the number on the scale. Patricia lost 10 pounds, gained 3 pounds of muscle, reduced her visceral fat grade from a 6 to a 3, and lowered her body fat from 20% to 12%.*
“What surprised me most was how quickly the initial transformation happened. I lost 8 pounds and 3 inches from the waist in the first three weeks.**”

Coaching played a significant role in Patricia’s experience, making the plan feel more approachable from the start.
“I don't think the experience would have been the same. I don't think I could have done this without a coach. And I think the community is such a good piece too.”
Having someone in her corner going through the experience alongside her helped Patricia feel supported every step of the way.
Patricia has experienced stomach issues, including IBS, for years. A few weeks after starting the metabolic health reset, she noticed that her stomach felt the healthiest it had ever been.
For Patricia, two of the biggest takeaways from the metabolic health reset were the healthy habits she built and a new perspective on what’s possible as she ages.
"The habits feel so solid now. I can’t imagine going back to the way I was treating my body before. So many of the healthy habits I learned have really stuck with me. They say good habits are just as hard to break as bad ones, and I think that’s true.”
The journey for Patricia didn’t stop when the program ended. She has continued building on the healthy habits she developed during the program and has even brought that energy into the office. She’s encouraged colleagues to get moving by creating friendly challenges around the office, from pull-up and push-up challenges to other ways of making movement a little more fun and social.

Discovering a new perspective on metabolic health.
For Tyler Cook, Vice President Technology Governance & AI, it all started with a nudge from Satya Jonnalagadda PHD, MBA, RDN, Vice President of Scientific & Clinical Affairs, who encouraged him to participate in the Employee Metabolic Health Reset.
“One big goal was getting my metabolism in sync. They say your metabolism starts to change as you age, and being in my mid-40s, I could feel my metabolism changing, so I thought, ‘Hey, this is a good time to start a health journey.’”
During the program, Tyler self-reported he lost 10.8 pounds*, going from 192.2 pounds to 181.4 pounds. He also saw his body fat percentage decrease from 16.6% to 11%, reflecting changes in both his weight and overall body composition.
“Before I didn’t fully understand what metabolic health meant. I didn’t know about the different types of fat or how important muscle mass is to overall health. For me, the experience was really an eye-opener.”
For him, coaching and community were central to the experience. His coaches provided consistent guidance and accountability, helping him navigate challenges and stay on track.
The employee community participating in this program added another layer of encouragement, with participants sharing their wins and supporting one another. Over time, feeling better became motivation in itself. After a few weeks, he noticed how much better he felt when he was taking care of his health, and that difference made it harder to return to old habits.
Seeing the number on the scale was a powerful motivator for Tyler. “It became extremely motivating when I saw my weight so low.”
Walking has also become an important part of Tyler's healthy habit of motion. He averages about 15 miles a day, incorporating movement into his workday by walking in the morning and taking walking meetings whenever possible.

Progress Patrice felt and saw.
Patrice Hubert, Principal Healthcare Scientist, already had her next health goal in mind in January. She wanted to lose a little more body fat and shed off her “mom weight.” When the opportunity to join the Employee Metabolic Health Reset came along, she was ready to put the program to the test in her own life.
Patty started the program at 203 pounds and finished in May at 191 pounds.* She self-reported losing 3% body fat and 9 pounds of fat mass while maintaining 98% of her lean mass.* She was also strength training throughout the program and was able to continue lifting heavy, even while eating fewer calories. For her, the numbers showed that she wasn't just losing weight — she was also making meaningful changes to her body composition.
Coaching and community quickly became an important part of Patty’s experience. Having someone there to provide guidance and accountability helped her stay focused, while seeing other participants share their progress gave her an added source of motivation. The small wins people celebrated in the community were especially inspiring and reminded her that everyone was working toward their own goals.
Putting science into action.
Satya Jonnalagadda PHD, MBA, RDN, Vice President of Scientific & Clinical Affairs, participated in the Employee Metabolic Health Reset, putting the principles she teaches into practice in her own life.
"After navigating personal losses that compromised my nutrition and sleep, the Trilivy Employee Metabolic Health Reset arrived at the ideal moment to help me restore my physiological baseline,” says Dr. Jonnalagadda.

The experience gave Satya the framework, accountability, and discipline she needed to refocus on her own health. Through the program, she lost weight, meaningfully improved her body composition, revamped her nutrition habits, and made progress with her sleep recovery.
For Satya, putting science into action is not about reaching a finish line. It’s about continuing to apply what she knows to support her own health. “This is a journey that I will continue to focus on.”
What the results showed.
The numbers tell a compelling story. 100% of participants reported losing weight and visceral fat, averaging 11.7 pounds lost, a 6.9% reduction in body weight.* 78% of participants also reported increased energy levels, while participants also reported adopting new habits including improved hydration and sleep, and increased exercise. Together, these results highlight that the experience went beyond changes on the scale, offering a broader look at the many ways metabolic health can show up in everyday life.
These self-reported results offer a glimpse into the different ways participants experienced progress during the Trilivy Employee Metabolic Health Reset, from changes in weight and visceral fat to how they felt day to day and the habits instilled along the way.
Support from every direction.
One thing became clear throughout the program: no one was going it alone. Participants had coaches in their corner to offer guidance, accountability and encouragement, while colleagues taking part alongside them brought another layer of support — and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the small wins together. From sharing tips to cheering each other on, the community became part of what kept people engaged and motivated.
Everyone came into the experience with their own goals and starting points, but they shared the experience of figuring it out, making progress and learning along the way. Their stories show how a support system can make the journey feel a whole lot more connected.
Who you surround yourself with can shape how you approach your own goals. When you’re surrounded by people who are working toward similar goals, sharing their wins and encouraging you to keep going, it can make healthy choices feel a little easier, more motivating, and a lot more enjoyable.
More than an employee program.
This experience for the employees and the lessons participants took from it is transformative and supportive of their long-term health goals. They saw firsthand how small changes can add up, how the right support can keep you moving forward, and how much more motivating the journey can be when you don't have to go it alone.

And the commitment to employee health doesn’t stop here. Each year, we offer “Metabolic Health in Action,”a program that gives our employees the opportunity to experience Trilivy’s metabolic health system, build healthier habits, and improve their metabolic health. It’s one way we put our mission of lifelong transformation through metabolic science and human connection into practice within our organization. Because the work we do to help coaches and clients pursue healthier lives should also start with the people who bring that mission to life every day.
For anyone thinking about starting their own journey, these employee experiences and stories offer a simple reminder: You don't have to figure it all out on your own. With the right plan, a coach in your corner, and a community cheering you on, you can take the next step toward your goals.
