Cynthia wasn’t just tracking what was changing on the outside. She was learning what was happening inside her body.

Every morning, Cynthia G. woke up with the same promise.
“Today's the day I get healthy again.”
She had done it before. Years earlier, she had successfully lost 100 lbs* and completely changed her life. She knew what to do. She'd found the perfect plan and knew it worked.
But health has no finish line, and sometimes life pulls you off course.
Over time, some of the weight returned — not because she'd forgotten how to be healthy, but because staying healthy had become harder to sustain amid everything else life demanded. Cynthia found herself caught in a cycle of frustration, self-doubt, and disappointment.
“I couldn’t trust myself.”
Everything changed when she committed to a metabolic reset. By looking beyond the number on the scale and understanding what her metabolic data was telling her, she learned to tune into what her body needed.
Over the next five months, Cynthia lost 50 pounds*, improved her body composition, and discovered that healing her metabolism also transformed her energy, confidence, and mental well-being.

Keep reading to learn how Cynthia stopped chasing the scale, started focusing on her metabolic health, and found her way back to herself.
She'd transformed once before, but life had changed.
Six years earlier, Cynthia's life looked very different.
As a working mother with young children, she was overwhelmed and struggling with her health. After suffering a heart attack that landed her in the ER, she received the wake-up call she couldn't ignore: if she didn't make significant lifestyle changes, her future health was at risk.
Determined to be there for her family, Cynthia committed to losing weight and lost 104 pounds on our previous 5 & 1 weight loss plan.* She felt stronger, healthier, and more confident than ever. Inspired by her own success, she became a coach to help others experience the same transformation.
At the time, success was measured by the tangible progress she could see — the pounds lost, the way her clothes fit differently, and her renewed sense of confidence.
But over time, Cynthia learned an important lesson: losing weight and building lasting health are not always the same thing.
Life became demanding. Between teaching, raising a family, and navigating personal loss, the routines that had helped her lose weight became harder to sustain. She found herself slipping back into old patterns.
Eventually, a lot of the weight returned. So did the shame.
"I felt ashamed," she says. "As a coach, I thought I should have it all figured out."
Looking back, Cynthia realized something important.
Losing weight was only part of the journey.
Lifelong transformation isn’t about reaching a goal once. It’s about continuing to lean on a coach, staying connected to a supportive community, and building habits that can weather life’s inevitable changes.
A second chance.
In January 2026, Cynthia received an invitation that would change everything.
She was selected to participate in the Trilivy pilot program, giving her early access to the enhanced Reset 5 & 1 Plan — an evolution of the original plan that expands the focus beyond weight loss to improving metabolic health. Along with a new line of Fuelings reformulated with MetaVantage Technology™ to further support metabolic health, Cynthia had the opportunity to experience Trilivy's comprehensive metabolic reset program.
She didn't hesitate.
"I remember thinking, 'That's it. I'm going all in.'"
This time, everything felt different.
Cynthia fully leaned into the support around her. She stayed closely connected with her coach, embraced the encouragement and accountability of both the pilot program and the broader Trilivy community, and learned to look beyond weight, using her metabolic scale to better understand what was happening inside her body.
"The metabolic data changed everything," Cynthia says. "When I didn't sleep well or I wasn't hydrated, I could actually see how it impacted my body. It helped me connect my daily habits to my health in a way I never had before."
For the first time, Cynthia wasn’t just tracking what was changing on the outside. She was learning what was happening inside her body.
Instead of asking, "How much weight did I lose?"
She started asking,
"How healthy am I becoming?"
That shift in perspective changed everything.
Her metabolic data helped her see how sleep, hydration, nutrition, and daily habits influenced her progress. It transformed health from something she was trying to achieve into something she was actively building.
Watching her body heal.
The weight came off — but what excited Cynthia even more was watching her body composition transform.
Based on self-reported results from her smart scale, over five months, she lost 52.8 pounds*, while reducing her body fat by 15.2 percentage points.**

Even more impressive, she cut her visceral fat — the fat that surrounds your organs — from 20 to 9, a 55% reduction**, an indicator of meaningful improvements in her metabolic health.
Unlike many weight-loss journeys where muscle loss can be a concern, Cynthia's smartscale results told a different story. Her muscle percentage increased by 8.3%, helping her maintain a stronger foundation while losing fat.

52.8 pounds lost*
55% reduction in visceral fat**
8.3% increase in muscle percentage**
15.2-point reduction in body fat percentage**
For Cynthia, these numbers represented far more than weight loss.
They were proof that her body was becoming healthier from the inside out.
"I feel like my body is a sports car again."

The transformation wasn't just physical.
While the physical changes were remarkable, Cynthia says the biggest transformation happened in her mind.
Despite navigating difficult family challenges during the pilot program, she noticed something she hadn't experienced in years.
She had energy.
She had mental clarity.
She felt hopeful.
She found joy again.
"Joy returned to my life," Cynthia says. "I started smiling more, dancing again, and enjoying life."
Rather than simply losing weight, Cynthia felt like she'd reclaimed herself.
The confidence she'd lost.
The resilience she'd forgotten.
The belief that she was capable again.
"I don't think I would have had the capacity to handle everything I was going through without what I'm doing now."
In 2026, Cynthia was invited to speak at Trilivy’s annual convention. Hear her story here:
A new way to coach.
Today, Cynthia coaches differently because she sees health differently.
She no longer focuses only on the number on the scale as the main progress metric.
Instead, she helps clients celebrate improvements in body composition, energy, healthy habits, strength, and metabolic health.
"When clients start focusing on building health instead of just losing weight, everything changes."
Her own journey also taught her another important lesson: coaches need support, too.
After regaining weight, Cynthia admits she felt ashamed.
"As a coach, I thought I should have it all figured out," she says.
But looking back, she realizes that coaches aren't meant to be perfect. They're human. Life happens to everyone, and maintaining lifelong health isn't something anyone is expected to do alone.
That’s exactly why human connection matters. With the right support, accountability, and guidance, people can lose 10x more weight and 17x more body fat† than those trying to do it on their own.
For Cynthia, having a supportive coach, community, and people to lean on during life's inevitable ups and downs made all the difference during her second journey.
Now, she encourages her clients — and fellow coaches — to give themselves the same grace they so often extend to others.
Because lifelong transformation isn't about having a perfect health journey. Or even a finish line. It's about continuing to show up, asking for support when you need it, and building healthy habits that last a lifetime.
What's next?
Although she's already accomplished an incredible transformation, Cynthia says she's just getting started.
Her next goal is to continue improving her body composition, increase lean muscle, and complete her metabolic reset before transitioning into the Refine phase of Trilivy's comprehensive metabolic health system.

She's no longer chasing a number on the scale.
She's working toward lifelong transformation through metabolic science and human connection.
Can you relate?
If you've ever lost weight only to regain it…
If you've ever felt discouraged after starting over…
If you've ever believed your best days were behind you…
Cynthia wants you to know you're not alone.
A metabolic reset isn't just about losing weight. It's about creating the foundation for better health, greater confidence, and a future you can feel excited about.
Sometimes, all it takes is the right support, the right mindset, and a fresh start to discover what's possible.
